Building Cleanup

Condition of the building before our team went in.

At SERVPRO of Hoboken/Union City and SERVPRO of Lower Manhattan we understand the frustration that comes with damage to your home or property. This is why we work hard to ensure our customer’s satisfaction above all else. When looking at the picture you can see that this property faced a number of different issues that caused them to call us. The floor suffered water damage that led to a number of other issues. Our crew went in and used their SERVPRO tools to help get rid of the water and other damage the property suffered. We used air movers, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers to remove all of the water on the property. Then we went back in and cleaned what we needed to in order to restore the property back to the desired state. 

Grease Fire Cleanup

This was the state of the kitchen before our crew went in and cleaned it up.

Here at SERVPRO of Hoboken/Union City and SERVPRO of Lower Manhattan we have a long list of jobs we specialize in going beyond fire, soot, and mold. Cleaning up fire damage is one of our specialties. So naturally, when a local high school suffered a grease fire in their kitchen we were more than happy to help clean up the damage.  It is our job here at SERVPRO to make accidents look like they never even happened. You can see from the picture the extent of the grease fire. Our team used our special SERVPRO cleaning products to help restore the kitchen to a much cleaner state. The owners of the property were very pleased with the rate of our work as well as the final product.

Flooding in Department Store

Flooding is visible on floors.

A local building suffered severe flooding after a storm. You can see when looking at the picture on the left just how much water is on the floor. The extent of the water runs throughout the entire building structure. Our team here at SERVPRO of Hoboken/Union City and SERVPRO of Lower Manhattan went in with air movers, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers to rid of all the water in the property. As you see in the picture this flooding took place in a clothing store. If water was left untreated on the clothing the fabric would be ruined. This would have cost the business owners a great deal of money to replace all the damaged items. Once the water was all dried up our team got the place feeling brand new again.

Sewage Draining

Sewage build up.

Our crew here at SERVPRO of Hoboken/ Union City work day in and day out to provide our customers with the best service to ensure the best results. One of our clients had a case of sewer damage and called us to help with the problem. You can see in the picture where most of the damage had taken place. The sewage reached a couple of inches, which is never a good thing. Our crew set up a draining system with trash pumps that moved the sewage from the property and placed it where it belongs, in the sewer. These types of jobs are never the prettiest but our crew is trained well and knows exactly what to do in these circumstances. Our client was very pleased with the results they received.
